Rubber Glove Turkey

What You Need:
- Rubber Glove (Clear)
- Tissue Paper
- Popcorn
What You Do:
- Using a clear rubber glove, stuff the four fingers with colored tissue paper, stuffing the thumb with red. Fill the palm with popcorn and tie off at the bottom, for a cute turkey
Hand Print Turkey

What You Need:
- Construction paper or cardstock (for a Thanksgiving card)
- tempra paint
What You Do:
- Paint the palm and thumb of your child's hand brown, then paint each finger a different color. Stamp her hand onto the paper. When the paint is dry draw feet, an eye and a gobbler. You can also use a small wiggly eye.
Indian Corn Painting

What You Need:
- Indian Corn (can be found at grocery or craft stores)
- tempra paint
- Box lid
- Paper
- Thick paper
What You Do:
- Place paper into box lid. Provide different colors of paint on paper plates
with a corn cob. Encourage your children to dip the cobs into the paint and
then roll around on their paper. This activity can be messy, but it makes
a very cool design.
Turkey Feather Painting

What You Need:
- Feathers
- tempra paint
- Paper
What You Do:
- Provide different colors of paint on paper plates with feathers. Encourage your children to dip the feathers into the paint and then use them as paintbrushes on their paper. Be sure to show your children that they can use the quil side of the feather like a pen.
Thankful collage and bulletin board display

What You Need:
- Magazines
- Scissors
- Glue
- Thick paper
What You Do:
- Display different magazines in your art area. Encourage your children to cut out/ or tear things that they are thankful forand glue them onto the paper. I like to then ask each child to tell me what they are thankful and write it down. We make a display with their collages and statements. The parents love to read exactly what their preschooler is thankful for.
