Mouse in a Jar

What You Need:
- Paper
- Inkpad
- Markers, Crayons, or paints
What You Do:
- Give your children a piece of paper with a pre-drawn (or have them draw one) jar on its side on it. Then have them use a inkpad to make fingerprints inside the jar, and then let them add the mouse features (eyes, ears, whiskers, arms, legs, tail, etc) to it.

- Grocery Ads
- Paste
- Paper
What You Do:
- Do this along with the book "Lunch" by Denise Fleming Give your children some grocery ads and a paper plate. Have them cut and paste their favorite foods onto their paper plate. Then have your children make a mouse from the paper and put it on their plate with the heading "What I Munch For Lunch"

What You Need:
- Tissue Paper
- Construction Paper
What You Do:
- Do this along with the book "Lunch" by Denise Fleming. Have your children cut out a mouse shape from construction paper. Then have them cut out food shapes form tissue paper and put them on the mouse. This represents the way the mouse took on the color of the food he ate in the book
