What You Do:
- Let your children paint a picture, using feathers as a brush.
Dove Hand

What You Need:
- Marker
- Paper
- Glue
- Paint
What You Do:
- Trace child's hand twice onto the paper with the marker. Have the children hold their fingers together and stick their thumb up. Next cut out both hand prints. Glue the two hand prints together at the palm. Fold down the thumbs. Now let the children paint the shape as a dove or pigeon.
Bird Nest

What You Do:
- Glue the Easter Grass onto the coffee filter and it makes a cute bird nest.
Real Bird Nest

What You Need:
- Mud
- Sticks, twigs, pine needles, or pebbles
- Grass or leaves
What You Do:
- After showing your children pictures of bird nest, provide you students with mud, sticks, grass, leaves, twigs, pine needles, and pebbles. Let you kids create their own bird nest.
Penguin Potato

What You Need:
- Potato (one cut in half, and one cut long ways)

- Construction Paper
What You Do:
- After talking about penguins give the children the supplies give them the supplies. If the children choose to they can make great penguin design by painting with potatoes. If they don't use it as a stamp they will surely find some use for it.

What You Need:

- Pine Coans
- Feathers
What You Do:
- Provide your children with a pattern or cut out of an owl. Then have them cut out a beak from paper, googly eyes. Finally add to the effect by using broken pine coans for the wings and painted feathers for the breast of the owl.

What You Do:
- Give the children all of the materials and have them make pictures of where they would go and what they would do if they where a bird. You can then string their pictures together and make a Bird Travel Book.

- Cardstock or Cardboard
- Beans
- Paint
What You Do:
- Have your children draw an owl on cardboard. Then have them put glue around the edges of the owl and put beans on the shape of the owl.
Paper Plate Owls
What You Need:
- small plates
- crayons
- glue
- fastners
- google eyes
- feathers
- half circle (for a head)
What You Need:
- Begin by coloring two small plates brown
- Next take one plate and cut in half
- Attach at the top with fastners and then glue feathers on
- Glue half circle on top and add google eyes..now you have a feathered friend...
