Bring appliance boxes into the classroom to be used as boats, buses, planes, and cars. Have the children decorate them and then use them to take them on a trip Delicious, Fun, and Educating Activity. Make Vegetable Soup from scratch (wash, cut, and prepare the vegetables with your class) Then cook it (Add some vegetable broth) and have it for lunch Have the children bring in pictures from their vacations. Make a classroom map of everyone's favorite places to visit. Make Vegetale people using real vegetables Get several different kinds of vegetables that look as natural as possible (leaves still in tack, corn in husk, etc) Put some potting soil in a bucket and let your children pretend that they are harvesting the vegetables. Get several different types of vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, corn, carrots, radishes, asparagus, broccoli, etc.) and let your children help you prepare them. Then for snack or lunch make a vegetable tray with them and let your children taste test.
