What You Do:
- Give your children magazines. Have them cut out and make a collage of things that are recyclable.
Recycled Wheel Barrow Flower Pot

What You Need:
- Laundry Detergent Scoop
- Cardboard
- Dirt
- Seeds
- Paint
What You Do:
- Have your children cut out and paint wheels from cardboard. Have them attach these to the laundry detergent scoop. They can now add dirt and seeds and grow flowers in their miniature wheelbarrow.
Recycled Puppet

What You Need:
- Lunch Sacks
- Paper Towel Rolls
- Newspaper
- Paint
- Meat Trays
- Aluminum Foil
What You Do:
- Stuff a white paper lunch sack with newspaper and then insert a paper towel tube into the open end of the sack (Put a rubber band around the sack to hold it on) Next have your children shred newspaper for hair, use aluminum foil for eyes, and even a foam mouth (cut from clean meat trays).

for cloud paintings use glue and

Rainbow From the Sky

What You Need:
- Paper
- Crepe Paper
- Paint
What You Do:
- Have your children cut a cloud from white paper. Next have them cut raindrops out of different shades of blue paper and lighting out of yellow paper. Have your children glue these on a piece of paper. Finally, have them glue trips of multi-colored crepe paper on the cloud to symbolize a rainbow coming from the cloud. These turned out so cute!

Rainbow Sticks

What You Need:
- Paper Towel Rolls
- Tape that you can paint on
- Glue
- Paint
- Uncooked Rice
- Toothpicks
What You Do:
- Pre-poke holes into the side of the paper towel rolls. Then have your children poke toothpicks through the holes (glue both ends). Next tape one end of the roll closed. Add rice and tape the other end. Next let your children paint their sticks as rainbows. Finally, cut off any ends of the toothpicks sticking out. Now your children have a great rainbow stick that sounds like the rain that makes rainbows come.

- Let you kids design their own rabbit Habitat. Let them design it any way that they think a rabbit would like to live. Than have them add a paper rabbit into their habitat
Fruit Loop Rainbow

What You Do:
- Use a large piece of poster board. Add food coloring or paint to glue to correspond with the colors of Fruit Loops cereal. Then paint a rainbow on the paper with the glue. Then have the children sort and match the fruit loops and stick them to the corresponding colors on the rainbow.

- Small Boxes or Styrofoam rectangles
- Glue
What You Do:
- Let your children glue several different boxes together to form a robot shape. Finally, let them paint the robot to make it look more realistic.
Toilet Paper Roll Robot

- Toilet Paper Rolls
- Aluminum Foil

What You Do:
- Wrap aluminum foil around a toilet paper roll. Next punch arm holes into the side of the roll. Put pipe cleaner arms through the holes. Have your children add other art materials (buttons, eyes, etc) to make the robot more realistic.
Rectangular Robot

- Have your children cut many different sizes and colors of rectangles. Next have them glue these together to form a robot shape. Finally, they can add features to make the robot more realistic.
Pet Rock

- Have your children gather rocks about the size of their fists. Next have them paint the rocks and add faces to make cute pet rocks.
Rock Painting

What You Need
- Small rocks
- Coffee cans
- Tag Board
- Paint
What You Do:
- Put pieces of tag board
on the bottom of a coffee can. Have your children dip the rocks in paint and
then throw them into the can. Finally, place the lid on the can and have your
children shake it like crazy!

Recycled Kazoo

What You Need:
- Toilet Paper Tubes
- Wax Paper
- Rubber Band
- Paint
What You Do:
- Simply decorate a toilet paper tube with paint. Then you punch a hole about a half-inch down the tube. Finally put a circle of wax paper over one end secure it with a rubber band. Now your children can play music from a recycled toilet paper tube.
