Ask local Doctors or Dentist for old X-rays. Show the X-rays to your children and explain that doctors and dentists use X-rays to check for broken bones or to see the inside of your mouth. Then ask your children if they have had X-rays and to share the experience Put a skeleton in your science area. Ask a doctor for as many old X-rays as you can have. This allows the children to touch, see and move the different bones in the body and then correlate these with an X-ray. . Ask a Doctor for many X-rays of people Have your children point out where their different senses are.
