What You Need:
- Pictures of vacation destinations
- Glue
- Additional Art Supplies of your choice
What You Do:
- Have the children pick a vacation destination and cut out pictures related to it. Glue the pictures onto a piece of poster board the size of a postcard. Then have them write a note about their travels, create a stamp, and then mail them into the classroom mail box.

- Travel Guides
- Glue
- Additional Art Supplies of your choice
What You Do:
- Collect different travel guides from chamber of commerce, AAA, and tourist web pages. Allow the children to cut out the pictures and create their own travel itinerary
My Suitcase

What You Need:
- Poster Board
- Glue
- Markers/Crayons
- Additional Art Supplies of your choice
What You Do:
- Create suitcase by folding a piece of poster board in half, stapling the side edges, and adding a handle to the top. Encourage the children to draw and cut out pictures of things they would take to put in the suitcases. Allow each child to decorate their own suitcase. These can also be used in the homeliving area.
My Vacation Transportation

What You Need:
- A Large Appliance Box
- Additional Art Supplies of your choice
What You Do:
- Set a large appliance box in the art area. Encourage the children to create an airplane, train, boat, or car to take them on their own vacation.
