Water day
Submitted by Amy
Take one day to be your Water Day. Have your children bring their swimsuits and water shoes. Fill small swimming pools and/or buckets full of water. Put water toys into the pool. For added fun you can have a sprinkler for the children to run through.
Sun Cooked Smores
Submitted by Sharron
Have your children put one graham cracker on a piece of foil, sprinkle chocolate chips and miniature marshmallows on top of the graham crackers. Cover this up with more foil. Place this in the hot sun. In about 10-15 minutes you will have hot gooey smores.
Homemade Visor
Submitted by Iva
Have the children cut a crescent shape out of a paper plate. Have the children decorate their visor with markers, crayons, glitter, or any other item you wish to provide. Punch holes in the ends with a paper punch and attach a small piece of elastic cord (enough to fit the child's head)
Bubbles
Submitted by Juanita
Mix up some homemade bubbles (mix three cups water with one cup dish soap with 1/4 cup corn syrup). This solution will make better bubble than real bubble solutions.
