Leprechaun Newspaper Hat

What You Need
- Newspaper
- Paint
- Various other art supplies
What You Do:
- Make a hat out of newspaper (make these for your class, or walk them through how to make them) and then let your children paint and decorate the hats to look just like a leprechaun's Hat. Once they dry your children will love to wear their new Leprechaun Hat!!

What You Do:
- Cut out the center of a paper plate then attach a paper bowl to the plate. Let your children paint this as a Leprechaun Hat

Shamrock Stain Glass

What You Need:
- Contact Paper or Waxed Paper
- Tissue Paper or Construction Paper
What You Do:
- Give the kids the contact paper (or glue and wax paper) and cut out as a shamrock. Then Let your kids make their own stain glass shamrock by putting tissue paper on the contact paper

- Crepe Paper

What You Do:
- Have your children cut a cloud from white paper. Next, have them glue trips of multi-colored crepe paper on the cloud to symbolize a rainbow coming from the cloud. Finally attach the rainbow to a pot of gold at the bottom. These turned out so cute!
Shamrock Collage

What You Need:
- Contact Paper
- Construction Paper or Tissue Paper
What You Do:
- Cut the contact paper in the shape of shamrock. Let you kids put the construction paper or tissue paper on it and make great collages

What You Need:
- Paper Bags
- Streamers
- Paint
- Various Other Art Supplies
What You Do:
- Cut the end out of a paper bag. Next have your children paint the bag and decorate with shamrocks. Have them attach streamers to the end of the bag. On the other end of the bag punch two holes (reinforce with tape and then punch) and put yarn through it. Your children can now hang up their windsock and watch the wind blow through it.
Idea:
Cut shamrocks out of different types
of materials (sand paper, corks, etc) and let your children do shamrock rubbings.

3D Shamrock

What You Need:
- Poster Board
- Tissue Paper
- Yarn
- Paint
- Glitter
- Cotton Balls or Cutup Paper
What You Do:
- Give each child two shamrock cutouts. Punch holes all around the cutouts. Next, have your children paint the shamrocks any way that they want. Finally, have them lace the shamrocks together with yarn and put stuffing (either cotton balls or cutup paper) between them. This creates a great 3D Shamrock.

What You Need:
- Petroleum Jelly
- Plaster of Paris
What You Do:
- Spread petroleum jelly on the outside of a small bowl and then have your children put plaster of Paris over the bowl. Let this dry for several days. Finally have your children paint the bowl and add gold (foil covered candy)
