Paper Plate Snake

What You Need:
- Paper Plate
- Paint
- Markers/Crayons
- Various Other Art Materials
What You Do:
- Cut a plate round and round from one edge to the middle. Give it to your child and let them decorate their very own snake.
To make this a class project connect all of the snakes together and have a snake go round the room
Stained Glass Turtle

What You Need:
- Contact Paper or Waxed Paper
- Tissue Paper or Construction Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Yarn
What You Do:
- Give the kids the contact paper (or glue and wax paper) cut out as a sea creature. Then Let your kids make their own stain glass turtle. After they have dried hang them in the window to make a beautiful stained glass look
3D Turtle

What You Need:
- Poster Board
- Tissue Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Yarn
- Paint
- Glitter
- Cotton Balls or Cutup Paper
What You Do:
- Give each child two cutouts of turtle. Let them decorate the creature however they want Then connect the two halves, stuffing them with the cotton balls. Makes a great 3D turtle.
Coffee Filter (or bowl) Turtle

What You Need:
- Coffee Filters
- Construction Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Paint
- Glitter
What You Do:
- Turn the coffee filter upside (or paper bowl) down and glue on construction paper, or paint to make the shell. Next make a head, legs, and tail to add to the turtle Finally, glue on googly eyes and you have a great turtle!
Turtle mobiles

What You Need:
- Clothes Hangers
- Sponges
- Paint
What You Do:
- Have Your children sponge paint a lot of turtles in different shapes and colors. Then hang them from the hanger and you have a turtle mobile.
Hand Crocodile

What You Need:
- Fabric Scraps
- Paper
- Crayons/Markers
- Paint (and perhaps sponges for painting)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Leaves
- Grass
What You Do:
- Have each child trace their hand on light colored paper. Allow your childrent to use the materials to create the markings and features of a crocodile. Encourage students to create the animals natural environment with the leaves and grass.
