What You Need:
- Paper
- Magazines
- Various Other Art Supplies
What You Do:
- Give your children magazines. Have them cut out and make a collage of things that are recyclable.
Recycled Wheel Barrow Flower Pot

What You Need:
- Laundry Detergent Scoop
- Cardboard
- Dirt
- Seeds
- Paint
What You Do:
- Have your children cut out and paint wheels from cardboard. Have them attach these to the laundry detergent scoop. They can now add dirt and seeds and grow flowers in their miniature wheelbarrow.
Recycled Puppet

What You Need:
- Lunch Sacks
- Paper Towel Rolls
- Newspaper
- Paint
- Meat Trays
- Aluminum Foil
What You Do:
- Stuff a white paper lunch sack with newspaper and then insert a paper towel tube into the open end of the sack (Put a rubber band around the sack to hold it on) Next have your children shred newspaper for hair, use aluminum foil for eyes, and even a foam mouth (cut from clean meat trays).
Rain Sticks

What You Need:
- Paper Towel Rolls
- Tape that you can paint on
- Glue
- Paint
- Uncooked Rice
- Toothpicks
What You Do:
- Pre-poke holes into the side of the paper towel rolls. Then have your children poke toothpicks through the holes (glue both ends). Next tape one end of the roll closed. Add rice and tape the other end. Next let your children paint their sticks any way that they want. Finally, cut off any ends of the toothpicks sticking out. Now your children have a great rain stick made out of recycled paper towel rolls

What You Need:
- Toilet Paper Tubes
- Wax Paper
- Rubber Band
- Paint
What You Do:
- Simply decorate a toilet paper tube with paint. Then you punch a hole about a half-inch down the tube. Finally put a circle of wax paper over one end secure it with a rubber band. Now your children can play music from a recycled toilet paper tube.
Idea:
Use packing peanuts to let your children
form interesting art projects. If you get them slightly moist they will stick
