My Own Rainforest

What You Need:
- Glue
- Leaves
- Grass
- Crayons/Markers
- Paper
- Paint (and perhaps sponges for painting)
What You Do:
- After Talking about the rainforest, give your class the materials and let them create their own Rainforest. You will be amazed at the creations they will come up with!
Friendship Butterflies

What You Need:
- Tape
- Paper
- Glitter
- Crayons/Markers
- Paint (and perhaps sponges for painting)
- Scissors
What You Do:
- Have each child trace both of their hands. Cut them out Have them exchange one of their hands with another child. Tape two hand prints together to make a friendship butterfly. Let them decorate with Glitter, Sponge Paint, Markers, etc.
Rainforest Trees

What You Need:
- Paper Towel Rolls
- Leaves
- Paper
- Crayons/Markers
- Paint (and perhaps sponges for painting)
- Scissors
- Glue
What You Do:
- Give the children the rolls and let them paint them. After drying, stuff the rolls leaving a couple of inches empty at the top. Then give the children the leaves and let them glue them on to create real live trees.. Cut slits about 2 inches up from the bottom so trees will stand up. Put all the trees together and you have a rainforest!
Parrot of My Foot

What You Need:
- Feathers
- Paper
- Crayons/Markers
- Paint (and perhaps sponges for painting)
- Scissors
- Glue
What You Do:
- Trace the child's foot and hand and have them cut it out pf construction paper (the foot is the body and the hands are the wings). Glue hand to the side of foot shape for wings. Next give the children paint and feathers and let them create their very own parrott
