Friendship Quilt

What You Need:
- Construction Paper
- Glitter
- Glue
- Paint
- Crayons/Markers
- Various Other Art Supplies of Your Choice
What You Do:
- Give each of your children a piece of construction paper and let them decorate it any way that they want. Connect all of the pieces and you will get a fabulous Friendship Quilt.
Friendship Art

What You Need:
- Paper
- Crayons/Markers
What You Do:
- Pair your children up, give each pair a precut-out shape of two friends holding hands (like paper dolls). Have each child from the pair color one friend. If you have an odd number make a few groups of three.
Friendship Tree

What You Need:
- Cardboard
- Construction Paper
- Crayons/Markers
- Paint
What You Do:
- Cut a tree out of cardboard and paint it green. Give your children construction paper and have them design two leaves. They can then paste their picture on one and write what their favorite thing about friends on the other.
My Friend as Me

- Yarn
- Glue
- Various Other Art Supplies of Your Choice
What You Do:
- Trace and cutout all of your children from large paper. Pair the children up and have them draw their partners on their cutout.
Friendship Wreath

What You Need:
- Piece of fabric
- paint
- Various Other Art Supplies of Your Choice
What You Do:
- Have your class put their handprints in a circle on a piece of fabric. Next let them decorate it with other supplies. You can hang this in your class and have a wonder wreath created by your whole class.
Hand Print Frame

What You Need:
- Paper
- Paint
What You Do:
- Give each child a piece of construction paper. Have them put a handprint in the center of the paper. Then have all of your children make a handprint frame around the child's print. You can put these up on a bulletin board with the heading hands in friendship.
Hands Wreath

What You Need:
- Paper
- Glue
- Paper Plate
What You Do:
- Give each of your children one color of construction paper (Johnny Red, Sarah Green,etc) Have them cut out their hand prints from the paper. Then have them exchange hand cut outs and make a friendship mult-color wreath (by gluing hands on paper plate). This is a great way of showing that you can put the works of different people together to make something fabulous.
