Clown Face and Hat

What You Need:
- Construction Paper and/or Paper Plate
- Pompoms
- Crayons
- Glitter
What You Do:
- Let the Children decorate
a piece of Legal paper. When this has dried make a cone shaped hat with it.
Next let the kids decorate a clown face on the paper plate. You can attach it
with yarn. Now the children made great clown costumes

What You Need:
- Paper (cut out as horses)
- Markers
- Paint
- Glitter
- Googly Eyes
What You Do:
- Give Each child a horse
cutout. Let them decorate it any way that they want. Then put each cutout either
on the wall or on a already made carousel. Then you have a neat carousel that
the whole class participated in making.
Clown Outline

What You Need:
- Large Sheets of Paper
- Marker (to outline children)
- Crayons, paint, markers, etc.
What You Do:
- Outline each child as they lay on paper. Then let them decorate the outline as if they were clowns.
Idea:
During Circus Week have the children

What You Need:
- Shoe Boxes
- Crayons, paint, markers, etc.
- Pipe Cleaners
- Pompoms or Styrofoam Balls
What You Do:
- Have each child decorate a circus train car (like the ones on animal cracker boxes). Then have them make the animal to go in the car (Can make from Pompoms or Styrofoam Balls or if strapped for time have them cut out pictures). You provide the engine and you have a great circus train
Popcorn Bag

What You Need:
- Small Paper Bags
- Crayons, paint, markers, etc.
- Popcorn
What You Do:
- Give the children each a bag and the materials and let them make a decorative popcorn bag. Once the bags have dried put some popcorn in it and let them have it for a snack or to take home.
