Jack In the Box
What You Need:
- Paper
- Crayons/Markers
- Paint (and perhaps sponges for painting)
- Scissors
- Glue
What You Do:
- Provide your children with the a large square, a slightly smaller triangle, two small and wide rectangle, a circle (close to the shape of the square) and a spring (or accordian folded paper) They can then use these materials to make a Jack In the Box. The square is the box. The triangle is the body and the head (circle) is attached to the spring . This allows the head to bobble like a jack. Finally, let your children decorate the box and jack anyway they want.
