Santa's Prayer
The sleigh was all packed, the reindeer were fed,
But Santa still knelt by the side of the bed.
"Dear Father," he prayed "Be with me tonight.
There's much work to do and my schedule is tight.
I must jump in my sleigh and streak through the sky,
Knowing full well that a reindeer can't fly.
I will visit each household before the first light,
I'll cover the world and all in one night.
With sleigh bells aringing, I'll land on each roof,
Amid the soft clatter of each little hoof.
To get in the house is the difficult part,
So I'll slide down the chimney of each child's heart.
My sack will hold toys to grant all their wishes.
The supply will be endless like the loaves and the fishes.
I will fill all the stockings and not leave a track.
I'll eat every cookie that is left for my snack.
I can do all these things Lord, only through You,
I just need your blessing, then it's easy to do.
All this is to honor the birth of the One,
That was sent to redeem us, your most Holy Son.
So to all of my friends, least Your glory I rob,
Please Lord, remind them who gave me this job."

Pulling Santa's Sleigh
Little Reindeer
We went out looking for a Christmas tree,
We went to see what we could see
The first tree we found was much too small
The second tree we found was much too tall
The third tree we found was much too broad
The fourth tree we found was thin as a rod
The fifth tree we found looked just right
So we chopped it down with all our might
We took our tree home and set it up straight
And everyone thought that it looked just great
Then we all joined hands and gathered around
The beautiful Christmas tree which we had found
I'm A Little Christmas Tree (Sung To: I'm A Little Tea Pot)
I'm a little Christmas tree tall and straight
Here are my branches for you to decorate.
First you put the star on the very top
Just be careful that my balls don't drop

My Candy Cane
This is my candy cane for all who'd like to see,
I can put it anywhere even on the tree.
It reminds me of Christmas time and of the falling snow,
But most of all when Santa goes, ho, ho, ho!
Twinkle, Twinkle Christmas Star
Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Star
Way up high is where you are
Shining bright for all to see
On the top of our tree

Santa Claus, Santa Claus, You are Much Too Fat (Sung To: Jingle Bells)
I heard a reindeer hoof, then Santa dressed in red,
Came crashing thro' the roof and landed on my bed.
I thought it was a dream, but quickly did I wake,
As soon as I heard Santa scream, "I want a piece of cake!"

Oh, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, you are much too fat;
I was sleeping peacefully but not my bed is flat. Oh!
Santa Claus, Santa Claus, how much do you weigh?
I'm glad I'm not a reindeer that has to pull your sleigh!

He got up off the floor and said, "How do you do?"
I said, "My back is sore, my head is black and blue."
"So sorry!" he replied, and then he asked my name.
He offered me a ride, I said, "No, thank you just the same!"

Oh, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, you are much too fat;
I was sleeping peacefully but not my bed is flat. Oh!
Santa Claus, Santa Claus, how much do you weigh?
I'm glad I'm not a reindeer that has to pull your sleigh!

I heard a "ho, ho, ho," the sleigh was in the sky.
but it was moving slow and wasn't very high.
It wobbled in the air, I hoped it wouldn't fall;
Said Santa, chewing cookies, "Merry Christmas, one and all!"

Oh, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, you are much too fat;
I was sleeping peacefully but not my bed is flat. Oh!
Santa Claus, Santa Claus, how much do you weigh?
I'm glad I'm not a reindeer that has to pull your sleigh!

Christmas Stocking
An article of clothing, This month I'll want to use,

For Santa Claus will fill it, It's my Christmas Stocking.
Christams Secrets
I know so many secrets, such secrets full of fun;
But if you hear my secrets, please don't tell anyone.
Here are some lights that twinkle, here is an ornament.
Here is a great big present, from Grandpa it was sent.
And on the very tip-tip top, an angel you can see,
What is the secret? Can't you tell? Why, it's a Christmas tree!

That Santa is so shy?
We can never, never catch him,
No matter how we try.

Because my mother said,
"Santa Claus will only come
When children are in bed."

Ride From Santa
If I could find old Santa, I'd ask him for a ride,
And in the wooly blankets, I'd snuggle by his side.
And when we go up high to the chimneys tall,
I would stay up on the roof for fear that I would fall.
And when the reindeer start to go,
I'd call out loudly, whoa... reindeer... whoa!

Up on the Housetop
Hanby
Up on the housetop reindeer pause;
Out jumps good old Santa Claus.
Down through the chimney with lots of toys,
All for the little ones
Christmas joys!

Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn't go?
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn't go?
Up on the housetop,
Click, click, click!
Down through the chimney with
Good Saint Nick!

First comes the stocking
Of little Nell.
Oh, dear Santa
Fill it well!
Give her a dolly
That laughs and cries;
One that will open
And shut her eyes.

Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn't go?
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn't go?
Up on the housetop,
Click, click, click!
Down through the chimney with
Good Saint Nick!

Next comes the stocking
Of little Will.
Oh, just see what
A glorious fill!
Here is a hammer
And lots of tacks;
Also a ball
And a whip that cracks.

Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn't go?
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn't go?
Up on the housetop,
Click, click, click!
Down through the chimney with
Good Saint Nick
Jingle Bells
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh,
O'er the fields we go,
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bobtails ring,
Making spirits bright.
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight. Oh!
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh. Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.

A day or two ago,
I thought I'd take a ride;
And soon Miss Fanny Bright,
Was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank,
Misfortune seemed his lot,
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot!

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh. Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer,
Had a very shiny nose,
And if you ever saw it,
You could even say it glows.
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names;
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games.
Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee,
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,
You'll go down in history."
Jolly Old St. Nicholas,
Jolly old St. Nicholas,
Lean your ear this way!
Don't you tell a single soul
What I'm going to say.
Christmas Eve is coming soon.
Now, you dear old man,
Whisper what you'll bring to me.
Tell me if you can.

When the clock is striking twelve,
When I'm fast asleep,
Down the chimney broad and black,
With your pack you'll creep.
All the stockings you will find
Hanging in a row.
Mine will be the shortest one.
You'll be sure to know.

Johnny wants a pair of skates;
Susy wants a dolly.
Nellie wants a story book;
She thinks dolls are folly.
As for me, my little brain
Isn't very bright.
Choose for me, dear Santa Claus,
What you think is right.
I Know Someone (Sung To:Yogi Bear Theme Song
I know someone you don't know, Santa, Santa
I know someone you don't know, Santa, Santa Claus
Santa, Santa Claus, Santa, Santa Claus
I know someone you don't know, Santa, Santa Claus.

Here Comes Santa Claus
Here comes Santa Claus! Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane! Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Are pulling on the reins.
Bells are ringing, children singing; All is merry and bright.
Hang your stockings and say your prayers, 'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.
Here comes Santa Claus! Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane! He's got a bag that is filled with toys
For the boys and girls again.

Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle, what a beautiful sight.
Jump in bed and cover up your head, 'cause Santa Claus comes tonight.

Too-too-too-too...too-too-too, and this is how it played for me.

I found a doll under the Christmas tree, and this is what it said to me.
Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma...ma-ma-ma, and this is what it said to me.

I wear a big funny hat
And glasses on my nose.
My beard is looong and snowy white
And I wear boots over my toes!

When Santa got stuck up the chimney,
He began to shout:
"You girls and boys,
Won't get any toys,
If you don't pull me out!"

"My beard is black,
There's soot in my sack,
My nose is tickling too!"

When Santa got stuck up the chimney,
"Aaachooo, achoo, achoo!"
