Paper Plate Kite

What You Need:
- Paper Plate
- Tissue Paper
- Streamers
- Crayons
- String
- Craft Sticks
What You Do:
- Have your children draw a design (or make one with tissue paper) on the paper plate. Next have them glue foot long streamers on the paper plate. Finally punch a hole at the nose of the plate and tie a piece of yarn through it. Wrap additional yarn around a craft stick (tape the yarn to the stick) Now your children have a kite that will really fly on a windy day.
Kite Ink Blot

What You Need:
- Paint
- Paper
What You Do:
- Give each of your children a kite shape cut out of paper (or have them cut their own) put a blob of paint in the middle of the shape and have them fold it over. This will make a really neat design on the kite.
Stain Glass Kitten

What You Need:
- Contact Paper or Waxed Paper
- Tissue Paper or Construction Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Yarn
What You Do:
- Give the kids the contact paper (or glue and wax paper) cut out as a kitten. Then Let your kids make their own stain glass creature. After they have dried hang them in the window to make a beautiful stained glass look.
Kitten of Many Shapes

What You Need:
- Construction Paper
- Glue
- Paint (and perhaps sponges for painting)
What You Do:
- Give your children precut shapes of different colors and have theme create their kittens by gluing the shapes together however they want. They can then use paint to finalize the masterpiece.
Cellophane Kite

What You Need:
- Cellophane Bag
- Streamers
- Yarn
What You Do:
- Tie the handles together with a piece of yarn. Attach the other end of the yarn to a craft stick and wrap some yarn around the craft stick. Tape streamers to the bottom of the bag. Let your children decorate the bag with stickers. These really fly great.
Keys For The King
What You Need:
- Paint
- card Board
- Glitter
What You Do:
- Have large cut-out's of key's for kids to paint with gold, or yellow, paint. Then sprinkle yellow glitter on top before dries. Have a cut out of a king for the kids to give their key's to the kingdom to.
