The Block Area is a center that is designed to allow your children to develope coordination, refine motor skills, and balance. As in all centers the children are free to move from center to center to explore, manipulate, create, and work where interests take them.

A Block Allows Your Children To:
Develop Hand/Eye Coordination by building with Blocks
Discover the properties of Blocks
Develop math concepts-number, size, shape, space and weight
Sharing an area with others
Using Imagination and creativity
Work together to form something bigger than they could have alone
