A great story for young children. It teaches children about days of the week, good and bad food, and science. The story is simple: a young caterpillar is born and then begins to eat his way through the world and through many, many different foods. These caterpillar eats the foods on different days of the week Thus helping to teach that Monday is a different day than Friday. The caterpillar gets very fat and then builds a cocoon and soon emerges as a beautiful butterfly.
