Fill Your Horn With Plenty of Learning
Submitted by Denise Gary, Indiana
For the fall or during Thanksgiving holiday here's an idea for a bulletin board:captions says: "Fill Your Horn With Plenty of Learning". Place horns of plenty around and you can use books, alphabets, numbers and anything educational all around the caption. Use fall colors, it looks great
Thankful
In big letters write the words We Are Thankful. With Thankful being the largest word. Then have you children cut out pictures out of magazines for the things they are thankful for. Then paste the pictures on the word thankful.
Horn of Plenty
The traditional Thanksgiving Board. Let your children pick their favorite foods. Give them a cut out of these and let them color and decorate them however they want. Add the food to the traditional horn on your board with the heading "Happy Thanksgiving"
Tie Turkey

Begin with a turkey poster cutout. Use some old neck ties. cut them down to
about 12 inch lengths. Starting with the large end staple it to the bulletin
board. Place each piece against the last until it forms a half circle. Use smaller
pieces in-between to make it more full. Staple the turkey cut-out on top of
the ties. It makes a colorful display and uses old ties you tried to get rid
of a long time ago... Place "Happy Thanksgiving" above the display.
