A friend showed me her copy of this book and I had to have one. I ended up giving it to first-time grandparents at a baby shower, and had to get another copy for myself.
I like the sentiment, the wording is cute, and the illustrations are adorable. I also love that it has what grandmas do best on one side, and what grandpas do best on the other, that was a nice surprise.

Very good, I know my grandchildren would like it. We just spent a few weeks with them, and did most of those things, so they would especially appreciate this book.

This fine children's book is actually two books; What Grandmas Do Best and What Grandpas Do Best. The illustrations are very colorful and show the grandparents and grandchildren doing all sorts of fun things together, such as playing hide-and-seek, dancing, going to the beach, and going on a picnic. When you're done reading one of the stories, simply turn the book over and begin the second one!

This is a terrific book for young children. It does a good job of promoting the bond between grandparents and young children, and it also gives them many fun ideas of different things they can do with grandma and grandpa. This has become a favorite of my children, and they enjoy hearing both stories before bed. Pick up this good children's book and learn about the many fun things children can do with their grandparents. Your children will thank you for it.

I just love this book, and my 5 year old daughter does, too. The book is 2 books in one. If you read it one way, you read "What Grandmas Do Best". Turn it over and upside down to read "What Grandpas Do Best". The illustrations are wonderful, but the best part is that if you read the grandma book first, the grandpa book will be very, very funny. I suppose it is funny the otherway, too. It's also a lot of fun to compare the two different books. And it provides you with an opportunity to talk to the child about how spending time with Grandma is different from spending time with Grandpa. I highly recommend this book.

I give this book to my friends as they become grandparents. Everyone loves this book!

I enjoy giving this book to 1st time Grandparents. It is good for both the Grandmother and Grandfather. My husband and I have enjoyed reading this to our two grandsons. With the bright pictures and animal characters, it keeps their attention and they seemed to enjoy every minute of it.
